Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the onions in a small amount of oil over low heat until golden.
- When the onion is golden, add the beef and brown, turning occasionally to cook on all sides
- Dissolve both types of paprika in 1 cup water and add that to the pot
- Dissolve the tomato paste in 1 to 2 tablespoons warm water and add that as well.
- Add the rosemary, marjoram, and thyme.
- Season with salt and cook, covered, over low heat until the beef is very tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve warm.
